A Valentine Makeover Event

I got an email from my friend Melanie a little while ago. Melanie is one of the most impressive people I have ever met. Ever. She has her PhD from Harvard; she is a professor at Carleton; she is down-to-earth, loving and giving. She is also way way way too young to have breast cancer.

I will let Melanie tell you about the event she has organized:

Dear Friends and Family,

Please join me to celebrate life, love, and looking great on Saturday February 11th. It’s a make over for a great cause.

My friends at Shoppers Drug Mart and I are raising money for the coaching program at the Cancer Foundation here in Ottawa. The program has been such a fantastic part of my blip with cancer that I want to do my best to ensure that everyone in this community has access to a cancer coach.

Please distribute far and wide. I have tickets for sale or call the number below to book your appointment. Space is limited, the make up artists are amazing, and fun is guaranteed!

Love on.

Join Melanie Adrian, warrior against cancer, and support the coaching program at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.

Get your personalized Valentine’s weekend makeover with one of our prestige makeup lines: Smashbox, Stila, Lancome and Benefit.

  1. What a great event. She sounds amazing and has such a great attitude. Cancer hits especially hard when the person is so young. Hope the day goes well. Bet you all look beautiful! (Post pics!)
