When I started my blog, I also started a Word document that I saved on the desktop of my Mac laptop. This Word document was a repository for my blog ideas, and also contained about three almost complete draft blog posts which are now likely lost forever. I am not one to whip off a blog post. It is usually drafted and mulled over for a few days before becoming public. I am a reviser and like to review and think things over before putting them out for everyone to see.
The other day, the hard drive on this Mac died, for the second time…this Mac has been most disappointing I have to say. It was unbelievably frustrating to have lost all of my notes and ideas. I have learned a lesson about backing up.
So all of my notes are gone and I went out and bought a netbook, which I am loving. I am mourning my lost notes, especially because I really can’t remember most of my ideas, but I’m liking this new little gadget quite a bit. It’s just write for being bloggy on the couch.
